DuraMed Medical Services is “Dedicated to Improving the Quality of Life,” and we have taken on the challenges of meeting the home medical equipment and service needs of those requiring care in the home. We service approximately thirty counties in and around the eastern Georgia and western South Carolina area. DuraMed is committed to our patients and to providing good quality services and products to meet their needs.

DuraMed Medical Services is a locally owned and operated home medical equipment company, providing services to the Augusta and surrounding communities since 1984. Through our highly trained, qualified and experienced staff, we are confident we can meet and exceed the needs of those who require home healthcare. Our mission statement is “Dedicated to Improving the Quality of Life.” In dedicating ourselves to the improvement of life, we have expanded our scope of services as we saw needs arrive, thus becoming the company with the most complete line of medical equipment and supplies in the area.

In 1993, DuraMed was extended the opportunity to join “the MED Group,” a nationally recognized leader in rehabilitation equipment and service. In 2001, DuraMed was extended an invitation to join US Rehab and VGM, nationally recognized leaders in the rehabilitation equipment and services as well as being the largest buying group in the HME industry. As a member of US Rehab and VGM, DuraMed is able to offer additional training for our staff.

DuraMed Medical Services can meet your medical equipment needs from basic wheelchairs and bathroom aids to home IV’s and nutritional services, oxygen, mastectomy products, and power wheelchairs, lifts, scooters and seat lift chairs.

• We are recognized by Medicare to meet the home medical equipment needs of seniors.
• Our company meets all 21 Medicare Supplier Standards.
• DuraMed Medical Services has been providing medical products and services to the community for 25 years.
• DuraMed Medical Services has a qualified staff of 21.
• DuraMed Medical Services standards require each of our associates to receive 8 hours of continuing education annually.
• DuraMed Medical Services is accredited by the ACHC.
• We are a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the local association of healthcare providers, the VGM Group national network of homecare providers.
